LEADERSHIP
Lee Waterworth
Founder/CEO
Lee founded Bunka with a clear aim: to make high-quality commercial swimming facilities more accessible, adaptable and commercially sustainable. With a background across mechanical, electrical, construction and business operations, Lee has led the development of the Bunka modular commercial swimming pool system from initial concept through to full commercial operation. He oversees Bunka’s wider strategy, partnerships, product direction and national and international growth.
Daniel Showman
Chief Financial Officer
Daniel leads Bunka’s financial strategy, investment planning and commercial governance. He supports the business in developing sustainable funding structures, managing commercial risk and preparing Bunka for long-term growth across the UK and international markets.
Craig Garnett
Director of Construction
Craig leads Bunka’s construction and site-delivery operations. He oversees project planning, installation, internal fit-out and construction coordination, helping ensure every Bunka facility is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required commercial standard.
Paul Bucks
Director of Product & Delivery
Paul leads the continued development and delivery of the Bunka product range. He works across product evolution, manufacturing coordination, installation planning and project delivery, helping ensure every facility meets Bunka’s standards for quality, performance and long-term reliability. His role connects product development with real-world delivery, ensuring lessons from each installation are carried into future Bunka systems.
Dave Nightingale
Technical Director
Dave provides technical leadership across Bunka’s aquatic and engineering projects. He supports technical design, system development, compliance, equipment selection and project coordination, helping ensure every Bunka installation is practical, robust and suited to its intended commercial environment. His experience strengthens the connection between design, engineering and successful on-site operation.
Simon Kershaw
Head of Operations
Simon oversees Bunka’s day-to-day operational activity, helping coordinate procurement, logistics, resources and internal processes across the business. Working closely with the wider leadership team, he supports efficient project planning and ensures the different areas of Bunka remain coordinated as the company grows.
